As Q2 comes to a close, we’re excited to introduce the new Humming Homes brand. We’ve spent the last few months laying out our vision for home services and where HH sits — across trust, support, transparency and partnership for the next generation of homeowners. We were fortunate enough to partner with the creative geniuses over at Franklyn (Patrick Richardson & Co.) to help bring our vision into a reality.

I’ll be the first to admit, I am not the biggest believer in beautiful brands. When we started Humming Homes, we just wanted the bare necessities. Our fundamental belief at the time was (and still is) that the only thing that matters is a great product & service experience for our early customers. But as we began working with the Franklyn team, it became clear that they would be the ones to help take our product offering to the next level. As they began digging in with us, they treated HH as their own — providing warm details around our core pillars, striking the right balance between empowering people and emphasizing the technology that powers our home services platform, and most importantly clearly communicating our value proposition — making homeownership easier and more enjoyable.

The new Humming Homes marks the beginning of our next chapter. At the halfway mark, we’ve doubled our homes under management across 5 markets (and growing), completed 1500+ home service projects over the last 6 months alone (ranging from basic handy-man tasks, installing geo-thermal heating systems or helping take care of flooded basements when mother nature hits), have grown our team internally to 25, welcoming some new faces! Internally, we’ve doubled down on our culture of “values-based kudos”, tying in some of our brand pillars into our company values and ensuring that we recognize team members who exemplify Humming Homes in a variety of ways. And we’re using this momentum to continue helping homeowners navigate the stress involved with maintaining and improving their most prized asset — their home.

As for what’s next — the remainder of 2022 will be filled with new products for homeowners, adding more benefits for our homeowners in their home management membership along with ensuring that they have all aspects of their home maintenance and improvement covered with HH. We aim for HH to help homeowners, service providers and our home service experts a better way to bring transparency and a better consumer experience to a broken industry all while giving time back to enjoy their homes, hassle-free. Our vision of transforming the home services industry remains — and our new brand is an exciting step in that direction.
